New in Moments: Users can now choose print-only – and stay off Google
We’ve listened to our users – and are now launching an important update for increased privacy and flexibility.
More and more people want control over what appears online. Many appreciate being able to send a greeting or announcement in the newspaper – but without it also being published online and showing up in search results.
What’s new?
You can now enable both “Print newspaper” and “Print + Online” as available options in the categories. This means:
- Users can choose whether their greeting appears both online and in print – or only in the print edition
- Greetings will no longer appear on Google, even if they’re later removed by an administrator
- Support teams will receive fewer common questions about removing content from the web
This creates a safer and more flexible experience – especially for parents and grandparents who don’t want greetings to live on digitally.
