Co-created communication for sustainable local communities
Pascal is passionate about what he calls co-created communication. His most recognised project is Botkyrka Municipality's TikTok initiative, where he gave young people in particularly vulnerable areas a platform to tell their own stories. The result was several million views, the Stora Kommunikationspriset 2025 (Swedish Communications Award), and the European equality award ECCAR Award.
A former journalist with an academic background in sustainable development and psychology, he is now a jury member for Stora Kommunikationspriset. Pascal's philosophy is clear: the municipality should not speak to its citizens, but co-create with them.
Municipalities should not only communicate to citizens, but rather co-create with them.
