Innocode presents new citizen engagement platform at Connected 2025 in Phoenix
Our colleague Morten Holst is heading to Connected 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona – an event bringing together leaders in smart city development, citizen communication, and digital infrastructure.
Over the past year, Innocode has been working with several cities in the Greater Phoenix area, where rapid urban growth has blurred city boundaries. Residents often don’t know – or care – exactly where one city ends and another begins. What matters is what’s happening around them.
At the same time, cities face increasing challenges in reaching citizens with important local information. Social media is falling short, and traditional communication channels often don’t support real dialogue.
💡 Introducing “The Valley” – a shared platform for local information
Morten will bring with him a new prototype: The Valley – a digital platform that allows residents to follow their own city, but also nearby areas and topics of interest, regardless of municipal borders.
"This solution reflects how people actually live their lives – not within administrative lines, but within communities. The Valley makes it easier for cities to connect directly with their citizens,"
During his visit, he will present the concept in meetings with cities interested in joining the project.
